“Sinking Eyeballs” is my silly name for an exercise I learned in Pilates. It is my go-to exercise to relax my mind.
Try this:
Lie on the floor – Take a few deep breaths – Close your eyes – Take a couple more deep breaths
Think about relaxing your eye muscles – Imagine them so relaxed that your eyeballs sink to the back of your head

I encourage my eyeballs to sink. “A little more; a little more; s-i-n-k.”
If you want to get fancy, relax your lower jaw, too. It’s hinged at the back to your upper jaw. Sweetly tell it to let go.
